LESSON 1

Focus & Study Routines

Using an interactive blueprint, students discover how to create a focus-friendly workspace, manage distractions, and follow simple yet effective study routines. They learn strategies like the Pomodoro method, visual chunking, movement breaks, and spaced retrieval practice.

LESSON 2

Reading & Note-Taking Skills

Students explore Question-Answer-Relationships (QARs), practice identifying essential information, and learn fun, science-based skills that transfer to secondary school and beyond. They'll learn how to acquire new vocabulary using a Frayer Model as well as how to capture key ideas with "Combination Notes" and graphic representations to master cross-curricular concepts.

LESSON 3

Memory & Test-Ready Strategies

Students are taught proven techniques to improve memory, how to review information effectively, and pre-test strategies that build confidence before quizzes and tests. They'll finish the course by completing a personalized Study Skills Master Plan activity.
